Watching the following videos before your skills testing can save you time and make your class more efficient. Studies show that students who review these videos in advance spend less time in the classroom.
Take a few moments to go through the materials below, and you’ll be better prepared for a quick and productive session.
Note: If you’re taking a BLS or CPR & First Aid course, these videos are not required.
We deliver the American Heart Association online course three times daily between 8 AM and 5 PM. To access the course, you’ll need a computer or a tablet—phones are not supported.
The course adapts to your current knowledge level, so its length varies based on your experience and skills:
You can start, pause, and resume the course at your convenience—you’re not required to complete it in one sitting.
Are you getting ready for your ACLS or PALS course? Here’s what to do. On the registration date and time you selected, arrive at your testing location with your RQI credentials and the entry instructions sent to you via email or text. Put on a pair of gloves, then log in on the provided computer by entering your username and password. Follow the on-screen prompts to start your skills session.
The Voice-Assisted Manikin (VAM) will guide you step-by-step through the skills testing process. There won’t be an instructor present, but don’t worry—if you have questions or run into issues, you can call our office for support. Our dedicated and friendly team is standing by to assist with anything you need.
Planning to complete your BLS or CPR/First-Aid certification? On your test day, arrive at your designated location at the time you registered for. Bring your phone—you’ll receive a text or be contacted through the room’s cameras to begin your skills test.
A virtual American Heart Association instructor will walk you through every step of the testing process. Once you’ve successfully completed your skills evaluation, you’ll receive your certification card on the same day.
On the day of your course, grab a free keychain CPR training mask in the color of your choice. These handy masks come in a variety of vibrant shades to suit your style.
CPR masks are essential for performing CPR safely. They help follow universal precautions and reduce risks during emergencies. Always use a CPR breathing mask to stay protected.

When you enroll in a CPR class, it’s important to know that performing chest compressions on a manikin can be physically demanding. Your hands, wrists, arms, or body may feel sore afterward. If you have any pre-existing conditions, like pain, carpal tunnel, weakness, or an injury, it’s best to wait until you’re fully recovered before attending.
If you start to feel too tired during the session or run out of time to complete your skills, don’t worry. Just give our office a call, and we’ll reschedule your session at no extra cost. Alternatively, you can stay in the room and finish your skills as soon as you’re ready.
Reschedule/Cancellation Policy
We don’t offer refunds after registration. However, you can reschedule your course for a $30 rescheduling fee each time you need to make a change.
